I’m a 49 year old certified Menopause Coach and even in my training to become a coach, the way that perimenopause was taught was unacceptable.

At 49, I refuse to believe that I can’t be in control of my own body.

At 38, I was struggling. After battling an eating disorder for 26 years, my hormones were a mess. I was struggling hard and felt like I was in my 80s.

I researched and experimented and got passionate about my hormones and at 49, I have very few symptoms of perimenopause (they crop up here and there), but I recognize them as powerful messages from my body.

And via the chakras, I have started to reverse the aging process.

I have thick, luscious hair, clear skin, bright eyes and strong muscles and bones.

I do yoga, pilates, weight lifting, aeriel trapeze, surf and most people think I’m younger than my husband (who is six years younger than me!)
